Children and Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a priority for Lakota Hub C.I.C.

We may remove content immediately where we believe it could identify, harm or place a child, young person or vulnerable person at risk.

Where a post or message raises a safeguarding concern, we may take appropriate action in accordance with our safeguarding procedures. This may include preserving relevant information and referring the concern to an appropriate safeguarding professional, statutory agency or emergency service where necessary.

Lakota Hub C.I.C. may review content submitted to areas of our website where contributions are permitted.

Current UK online-safety requirements can apply to certain services that allow users to generate or share content or interact with other users. Ofcom says services within scope have duties relating to illegal content, with additional requirements where children are likely to access them.
